Been away from the board for a while as a result of relationship, home renovations and an aged auto resto, but I am now finding back into firearms and specially the AR15 form. So I guess that makes me an previous semi FNG.    The "C" over the barrel would indicate a chrome chamber only barrel. But AFAIK, Colt marked the "C" up close to the muzzle
